reminds me of Houseguest
when someone who's caught up in a bind and people are after him/her, they take shelter with some confused struggling family who happens to live in a suburban area. And its the same scenario with usual stereotypes, the black person who needs help but can also offer their guidance, as well as teach the whites how to be black. While the white person is always clueless, no rythym, etc. Just a lot of cliches that were overused and already done in the 90s.
