This is why so many animals end up in shelters or neglected. People see it in a movie/commerical/TV show, they "love it" and decide they want one, before they even do the research on it, to find out, above all basic things, what breed it is.
shareDo english bulldogs and french bulldogs look similar, i brought a dog for my daughter, an english bulldog and it looks similar to Mrs. Arnes's dog... although she loves it i wont forget the A$2600 price tag... you could probably get a cheaper cross breed..

I think in my opinion it is best to have dogs from shelter....as I agree with Czarina that many ppl only buy dogs that they see in media/commercial...like the Paris Hilton's dog trend!! my gawd! it's so annoying ppl buy dogs really expensive when there are many dogs in shelters
