The grandma started singing the slave song, and talking about when her family had slaves. FREAKIN HILARIOUS. HOLY CRAP. HAHAHAHAHA. Luckily I wasn't in a theater or I would have gotten kicked out.

BTW,

This movie, and similar ones (off the top of my head, white chicks...), aren't racist. They are satirizing it. And for those white people who whine about reverse racism, have likely never been on the receiving end of true racism, or are klansmen. Anyway, I hope this doesn't spawn a huge thread on racism in this movie. Get over it, it's a movie. Laugh! IT WAS HILARIOUS.

That was rolling-on-the-floor funny and I must give Joan Plowright her props for playing that scene with a straight face. The reactions of Martin, Latifiah, and the kids were classic. Very funny scene.
