What's wrong with a lot of white people?

I might not hear it too much on this board, but I'm getting really annoyed with how people say that America being predominately European is a bad thing. From what I can gather most of the people who say this wouldn't care if it was predominately African, Mexican or Asian. So why is it so bad that a country has more white people than others?
