Did no one learn from MTM screwing up with WKRP? At least KRP had their own theme song intact. T80'sS even had to edit Killing Joke out as the theme song. Turned it off about 6 minutes in. Disgusted. I would think shows would work out long term deals on music for syndication, home video, downloads, streaming, etc... Before they ever put a song in a show these days. WKRP is the learning tool, when it comes to short term thinking. Sad. One oddity though: saw enough to notice 3 songs were missing in 1st six minutes, but a Talking Heads original was still in the driving to work scene. Dunno how that survived the editor's cut, but everything else was gone. The dance scenes at Club Berlin were all generic Muzak. No Heaven 17 to kick the show. Bummer. Lost my original VCR tapes in a fire and was excited to find the show on HULU and someone just yanked the rug out from under the whole thing. Just lovely.
