i beg to differ on your choice of 'joanie loves chachi' as one of the worst tv shows of all time.
i remember,i was either 19 or 20,when this show came on the air and id be just getting home from my gas station/repair shop job when it came on at night and i can say in all fairness and honesty,that i watched it solely for the chance to oggle erin moran[joanie] in a variety of tight,sequined bedecked,shimmery,low cut,thigh revealing,costumes and/or short shorts or mini dresses....she looked hot in this show,she had lost most of her baby fat,yet retained her shapeliness.
despite the bad frizzy perm she had since her 'happy days' stint,joanie made this truelly awful sitcom bareable,by being one of the few hotties on tv in the 82/83 season besides 'catherine bach' on 'the dukes of hazzard' and 'heather thomas' on 'the fall guy'......just saying she made a very tired mechanic/gas jockey stay up a half hour later than he normally would have,an ice cold pabst blue ribbon,a geasey pizza and joanie cunningham's fineness made my night every tuesday.
