I hate the whole scene at Yankee Stadium so much. The whole part with Giuliani, the entire city chanting Kiss Her DA-VID!, Sandler shouting Go Yankees!...it was like ugh can this get any more corny and uncomfortable.
I would be willing to nominate this for the worst climactic scene maybe ever.
And I am not trolling. I enjoy this movie for the most part. This scene just makes my skin crawl when I watch it.
Yeah not the best way to wrap up an otherwise enjoyable movie.

Yes...it is the deeply (yet impossibly superficial at the same time...) annoying and naive candor of American movies...that's why Sandler films can never be taken as legit comedies.

This movie's first half with John TuTurro and Jack, and Sandler attacking the lades was much funnier then the second half.

It was indeed pretty corny, but I enjoy it anyway.
I did hear that some people hated the ending where everyone sings 'I feel pretty.' I actually laughed out loud at that part, I found it to be a good ending.
