Having never heard of Harvey Pekar, this was quite refreshing. Making comics of every day life. That is a really interesting concept.

I thought Hope Davis was fabulous. I loved Joyce. Toby was hilarious. Cannot believe someone in real life really talks like that. lol

SPOILERS

I thought that it was hilarious that Joyce after just meeting Harvey and hardly knowing him said: "Harvey, I think we should get married." Very funny moment.

Paul Giamatti played Harvey slightly exaggerated I thought, especially playing him miserable.
But he did a good job nonetheless.

It's a good story, and I loved that despite Harvey being such a gloomy guy, that Joyce stuck with him until his death.

What a quirky and interesting match this couple is/was.

It's a funny film, with some somber moments, and it's a good 1 hour and 41 minutes to spend.

Yup that was one good movie, loved the jazzy soundtrack too

Made me cry at the end.
Only my 2nd time watching it.
Cant remember the first time i watched it, was so long ago. But it led to get some of his comics.
A beautiful film
I get a similar feeling when i watch tim burtons Ed wood.
Im so happy i have a family
