I really liked Sideways (my second favorite PG movie) but like this one much more.

Sideways is a great film.

American splendor is an amazing film.

The movies are too different to compare and aren't really competing. They are both worthy of watching and very good.

It seems odd to compare the two, as AS is basically a biopic, while Sideways is a fictitious road pic / romantic comedy.
