Is the DVD only out in Region 1?

And, as it probably only is in R1, are there any plans for other regions?

Denmark. And I know for a fact that my DVD-player only plays Region 2.

There are free programs on the net that allow you to copy a dvd and make it region free... or you could get a region free DVD machine.
