This movie saved the Harry Potter series

I haven't read the books (I know...there way better) but After hearing so much about HP I decided to give the movies a go. And after a pretty good kids movie and a wayyy to long sequel this movie showed what a good Harry Potter movie would feel like. It sucked me into the world so much more than the previous two I couldn't help but binge watch thru the next 5. And I can say that this is my favorite HP movie by quite a bit. Anyone else agree

They sure turned it up a notch in this one with the dark part, it's like they went from a kids movie to horror hehe. It is prolly my favorite movie in the franchise aswell.

No it was Goblet of Fire where it went from a kids movie to Horror, POA was still a campy, kiddie adventure. I don't know why people seem to think that it was darker than the first two, I thought it was sillier and more childish. Damn shame because the book was really good.

To be fair, POA was transitioning. It had the silly, campy elements but it also had a dark theme. I wouldn't say that it was more cheesy than the first two. Just no.

reply

Because it was. PoA was by far the best one of the best of the series and bumped it all up a notch.

I would agree while it was goblet of fire that transitioned the trio into young adults but prisoner of azkaban was one of my favorites novel wise.

That fell apart at the end. No idea what you are trying to say.

This one is for sure one of the best of the Harry Potter movies.
