Good in the books and not so much in the films they say... I wonder if this is the reason this post was created in the first place? Haha.

While it’s true that she doesn’t get the chance to completely shine in the movies like in the books, Emma Thompson does such a good job in the role and steals almost all of her scenes. And yes, I like her character.

Emma Thompson can pull off any character, major or minor.

I LOVE Thompson, I think she's one of the best actors alive...

But Trelawny isn't her best work.

I love her mainly because I had I had a teacher who was identical to her. She was an art teacher.
