Is it me or did this movie just end like cronicles of riddeck with the whole sitting on the throne thing
shareA bit, but I liked this a lot more. Perhaps because I've seen parts of 2000 and all of Ascension, I like this more than I liked "Riddick." I never saw Pitch Black. Anyway, the whole ending on the throne bit is an easy entrance for a sequel. Especially this one, with the "The king is dead. Long live the king" bit. The disappointing bit is I'm a big fan of seeing good movies on the big screen, and since this one and Ascension were direct-to-video, a part IV will probably not be in theaters. bummer.

shareA fourth seems unneccesary. But if it is treated like the new Prophecy movies, a new series of stories that move passed the first trilogy, it wou;dn't be too bad. I wonder how they will handle it? Uffizi the big bad, or will they try to garner sympathy for him and vamps?
