I wonder what was in "The Kit" anyway... It's just this little box he holds, and he tries to go for it before the screwdrive couples with his head. I was just wondering what you guys think "The Kit" was?

Yeah the kit was what left me wondering the most after seeing this film.
Is it a nod to something else like Marcellus Wallace´s briefcase or something?

OMG it reminded me of the same thing! Is there a Tarantino connection to this movie? I know he's worked with Eli Roth on Hostel & maybe other movies, was this one of them? Could be symbolic, could be a goof or just a plot hole...stuff like this drives me nuts

It wasn't a goof, just something Eli Roth won't explain. I asked him about it a few years ago on the Cabin Fever official movie message board he avoided the question by saying "I'm not sure what kit you are referring to."

I guess we'll never know.
