I kinda loved that aspect. Nice twist on the final girl stuff.
Plus, characterwise, I liked the 3 guys more

Totally not a cliche. I liked how the order of the deaths went. Did not see that coming.
A part of me was kinda hoping Bert would be the lead instead of Paul, but yeah. Pretty satisfied with the death order. Mainly cause f the whole non-cliche thing

Horror making 101 says the main character has to be pure. Paul was the purest out of the group. Burt was amoral, making him a better side character

I do get what you're saying though, but I think it could've been a cool change for one of the less pure characters to take on the lead role (though we sorta get Jeff as the final boy anyways, seeing as he's basically the last one to die) Plus, I thought Bert was the most entertaining character, so more laughs from him could've been nice too.
IDk about rape but he did sort of feel her up while she was sleeping. And when you really think about it there is no clear cut main character. That is the great thing about this movie: everyone is fair game. Bert was great and the actor who played him did an amazing job, but I don't really see how Eli could have written him in more.
