Anybody notice that Paul ignored his own advice in the movie? Paul advises Marcy and Jeff to use safe sex right before he leaves them them but when he is starting to have sex with Marcy he asks her about the lack of condoms. Anyone else feel like that was idiotic on his part?
shareyeah it was. even more idiotic cause he only asked about the condom after they were already having sex so he wouldve already got the fever. if he wanted a condom he shouldve put it on before he penetrated otherwise it dont matter.
but the way marcy was on top of him i dont think paul had much say in it. it was like one step below male rape. she wanted a ride and i dont think she gave a crap how into it he was or how worried he was that he catch something from her. i think that party was gonna happen whether he wanted it or not.

maybe thats kinda true but i think it's probably a more fluid dynamic than that.
like, if he'd really just stopped caring, then he wouldn't have poured listerine all over his dick right afterwards. think about it, that has got to be painful! someone who figures they're dead no matter what wouldn't bother.
i think marcy kind of just took control of the situation and once she had gotten paul to a certain level of excitement, nature overtook common sense and he was just more interested in enjoying it, like you said, then doing what was sensible. his horniness probably talked him in to thinking "yeah, she's right, we're both dead anyway." because that was what it needed him to believe.
once he was finished, of course, it was a whole different story.
people have dozens of different sides to themselves and the side that's dominant varies a lot over time. during that scene, paul's horny side had the most control over him.
also, marcy was in a really dominant position, like i said before. her whole body weight was holding him in place, straddling his hips and keeping his arms pinned down so he couldn't even move them. it would've taken a lot of conviction for him to try to force his way out of that situation, but he was just too into what was going down to make it happen.
