I have to say, Mark Shepard as Badger, and Christina Hendricks as Yo-Saf-Bridg, (i.e. Mrs Reynolds) were every bit as good as the main 9 actors. They just added so much to the show, and get little credit for it. So kudo's to them!
EDIT: I totally forgot to add Michael Fairman as Adelai Niska. What an awesome, creepy bad guy he was!

I would bet it's because of the positive atmosphere on the set. From all the video extras and interviews that I've seen, everyone really enjoyed working on the show, and all wanted to do their best. I've never heard of any tension or other issues.
Absolutely yes. I have never seen a show with so much camaraderie between the entire cast. It is SUCH a crying shame it got cancelled. A true loss for all of us, and all of them as well.
And although it was probably my least favorite episode, I saw an interview with the cast that revealed, during 'The Message', where they were all standing around the casket after they got it back onto Serenity, they had JUST gotten the news like 15 minutes before, about cancellation. Re-watching that scene, and seeing the emotion on all of them, is gut-wrenching. They weren't acting at all. They were truly upset.

Guest stars Richard Burgi and Gregg Henry, along with regulars Adam Baldwin and Jewel Staite reunited with Nathan Fillion on episodes of Castle.
Gregg was also in Slither (2006) with Nathan.
My favorite guest was Steven Flynn as the nasty captain that boarded Mal's ship in Out Of Gas. I wish he was more well known. It was cool to see him turn up in three episodes of Justified.
Summer Glau was on a castle episode too. Adam baldwin and nathan fillion also both did voices for halo. Firefly just had such great chemistry it seems they all wanna keep working together no matter what.
And as far as I am concerned, Summer needs her own show! I would not care what it was about. She is what led me to Firefly in the first place, from watching The Sarah Conner Chronicles. What a wonderful journey its been since then. Firefly, Dollhouse (lots of crossover actors to and from that show too), even the Crackle exclusive show, Sequestered.
I just wish she could get a recurring role on Agents of SHIELD. Her fight choreography would fit in well with the rest of the show. She would make a perfect inhuman! In fact I think I will repeat this thought on that board right now.
