Is there any reasons why May spelled out "Amy" on the forehead of the human doll she created?
Was "Amy" supposed to be a new friend that she wanted or was it suppose to spell out as "May"?
Just wondering if there was anything behind the "Amy" naMr that I might have missed during the film?
I just felt May chose the name out of letters of her own name, to make it seem like her friend was even 'closer' to her.

The name of the "friend" May eventually creates is "Amy", which is not only an anagram of "May", but also a pun on "Ami", which is French for "friend".
