That's how I felt during this entire movie
Because at the end when they changed back it just seemed like Rob Schneider was in an Adam Sandler movie doing cameos again.
Like I didn't really feel like he was the leading actor
More like Rachel McAdams was in fact wearing a Rob Schneider Costume
That's really more a testament to Rob's acting than anything else

I agree - Rob Schneider MADE the movie, he gave a brilliant, hilarious performance.
shareJust watched this movie again yesterday and I nearly sprayed nostril propelled soda all over the couch, I had forgotten how funny some of the scenes are. And I agree, Schneider easily makes this movie worth watching.
It really surprises me when I read reviews about him not being funny or charismatic enough to carry a movie, that he's just an Adam Sandler tag-along. It's just not true.

He has a unique look and a very expressive face and his comedic timing is impeccable. The go-between with his personal trainer/bar tender at the night club was just hysterical and the chemistry between his character and Anna Faris was excellent. It was there, there's no denying it.
Who else could have pulled off all facets of Jessica, Taquito, and Clive? And done it all so convincingly? The entire cast, including the lovely Faris, were there simply to support Rob and make his role even funnier. The fact that he was so forgettable as Clive in the last scenes is definitely a testament to how well he pulled off being Jessica.
After all, we didn't watch Jessica grow and mature as a person and become fond of her while she was being played by Rachel McAdams. We grew fond of her as Rob Schneider. (It's me...sniff...Jessica!)
A very light and enjoyable comedy featuring a very funny man and at least one Hot Chick!
Definitely one for the DVD collection.

Rob was great but I think Rachel McAdams would have been better if they put more of her scenes in (you can see them in the deleted scenes). Anna Faris was great too and also had some great deleted scenes that shouldn't have hit the cutting room floor.
shareI also feel like I'm not watching Rob in this movie. It's really odd but it's like he's Rachel in this movie. He definitely did a great job in this role! He made the character so likable and just completely pulled it off. The movie wouldn't have been nearly as good if he wasn't the lead because he did such an amazing job in the role. Maybe he should play girls more often?
