Why the low rating?

Even after eleven years, this movie is still hilarious. I still laugh at my favorite scenes. I think you'd have to be absolutely dense not to find at least some parts of this movie funny!

Totally agree :-)
laugh out loud funny, not many movies that are start to finish pure entertainment :-)

reply

Easy. It sucks.

reply

Did you actually see it? Because the previews sort of gave away the whole movie.

reply

Uh, no. You gave Ride Along a 6/10. You gave Salt a 7/10. You gave The Interview a 3/10. Halloween (2007) a 9/10? Pumpkinhead a 9/10? The Passion of the Christ 10/10? Dracula 2000 a 5/10? You gave the 1931 Dracula a 3/10...I mean you're hilarious. The majority of the movies you watch are horror movies. I Spit on your Grave a 8/10? I have a feeling you are either a rapist or you're planning on becoming a rapist.

reply

Oh yeah dude, people are allowed to have their own opinion for movies.

reply

Yeah, sure. But let's just take Rob Zombie's Halloween for instance, that movie totally sucked. And if you really gave it a 9/10 well I clearly know whose suggestions I won't take...

reply

Except people who give Rob Zombie's Halloween a high rating while giving this hilarious film a low rating don't deserve to be taken seriously.

reply

"Halloween (2007) a 9/10?"

Are you *beep* kidding me?

reply

Because Rob Schneider is a carrot. And a stapler.

reply

I love this film, although not one of my all time favourites so I think it deserves a 7.5 (if IMDb had half-ratings). I think is is definitely underrated, much better than Mean Girls (comparing it because it's another chick-lit high school comedy with Rachel McAdams).

Because people have limited senses of humor. It has to have National Lampoon attached to it?

I partly think it's guys afraid of their feminine side.

When you are not concerned with succeeding, you can work with complete freedom.

reply

Itd cause the whole joke is "hey, Rob Schneider is acting like a girl. That's funny huh?"

Only bit I actually found funny was the old black guy in the bathroom giving him instructions on how to piss.

reply

"It has to have National Lampoon attached to it?"

Where does that even come from??

reply

I wondered the same thing.

reply

It is funny. Not the greatest movie. But people hate it because of Rob Schneider - It seems like it's okay to hate on that guy.

reply

"I'd have to be absolutely dense not to find at least some parts of this movie funny!"

Yeah, way to go. People don't all have the same sense of humour. I personnaly enjoyed the movie (without saying that it is "hilarious" but it sure is funny), but I can totally understand why the movie would "suck" for many people.

reply

Rob is not afraid to go the mile and not worry about image. He is one of the most entertaining if not hilarious comedians/actors I can think of. The fact he is so versatile and fearless makes him great. The Hot Chick is one of his best Works aside from the Animal. Totally BEST cast ever. Good therapy even if one doesn't have a side splitting reaction.

reply

"The fact he is so versatile and fearless makes him great."

Hmmm... I guess we don't have the same definition of "versatile". Dustin Hoffman is a versatile actor, Rob is pretty much always Rob in different clothes.
