The Bartender

The scenes @ the party w/ the Bartender. OMG, I couldn't stop laughing! And the movie's ending left me in hysterics, too!

He had a serious case of homophobia... But it was funny because Jessica forgot she was in a man's body almost everytime!! Even using a higher pitched voice! Then she is like oh crap... And changes her voice to sound deep lol.

The movie's ending is a little perplexing because the Rob in the car never really knew the bartender so why would he find it scary to see the bartender driving? The bartender thinks he knows Rob, of course but that was the other Rob, who is back to being Rachel Mc Adams and is not in the car.

reply

I originally thought that the bartender himself was implied to be gay. Now I think that the bartender locked the doors probably because he remembered Rob's characters face and had found out that the character was a wanted criminal. He simply understood that the bartender was taking him to the police.

My thought on it is this: The bartender is hiding that he is gay with ie poker face, when Rob went in the car and saw the driver give a creepy smile & locked the doors.
Poor Rob realized he was in a real bad situation /place! looked out the back window and screamed like a girl "awesome funny" as he knows karma has come for him & that the bartender is into gimp masks, kinky S&M stuff. Brilliant film.

reply

Because he locked the doors and turned around with a very creepy face.
