Have watched this every Christmas since 1989...
And don't plan on stopping anytime soon. A delightful special to watch in slippers with a mug of cocoa. Still warms my cold heart after all these years.

shareSame. We had it on a recorded VHS with other Christmas specials when I was a kid. I watch it on Christmas Eve every year.
shareJust watched it for this year. I'm 40-some years old and will keep watching it every year. On a side note, I've seen it a gazillion times and JUST realized that Jon got a sweater that's too big for him, just like a kid would, with plans that he'll "grow into it." My favorite parts are when the "boys" say they're worried about Binky saving Christmas, and then them arguing about it being Christmas morning so they should be allowed to open their gifts at 1:30am.
shareThe brothers' comments about Binky: the Clown Who Saved Christmas were hilarious. Did they truly believe the story was going to end differently this time?
These bits of subtle humor are what makes this special so great.
Save the holiday season.
I liked it.
Of the all the specials, it ranks #3.
The grandma with Garfield talking about her deceased husband was impressive.
I enjoy this special, too, but I like Garfield's Thanksgiving a bit more.
Save the holiday season.
People seem to like the Thanksgiving episode, but I don't recall seeing that one here in Britain (probably because few of us celebrate the occasion). The original UK version of the 'Holiday Celebrations' pack had the Thanksgiving episode replaced by a camping one ("Garfield in the Rough").
