don't you just hate them! The always seem to appear when you have no/little ammo, and usually it's the zombie I've come back to burn, because I had nothing left in my flask at the time
P.S. Does anyone know exactly how long it takes for a zombie to become a red head?

It's a bit of a pain to keep re-filling that flask everytime it runs out. Also, I'm back in the house (with the hunters). will I need the flask again?

There may be a few crimson heads in the corridor with the mirrors if I remember correctly if you killed the original zombies there and did not burn their bodies, but you shouldn't need the flask in either case cause it will already be too late.
You should not need the flask again or only on very rare occasion since you have passed the part of the game that has the most zombies. You do come across them again but usually in areas you dont need to backtrack through or can pass quickly enough that they wont become a problem.

Yeah, Ive noticed that before. The one in front of the mirrors (on the way to the armour key) can never be burned, no matter how quick you are.
