this game is *beep* rediculous
i play it like once a year, and its amazing. i honestly couldn't have asked for a more ridiculously awesome remake. they need to do 2 and 3. it would make my life complete

I'm usually against remakes myself, but after Capcom did such a great job remaking RE1 so well, I'd be open to remakes on some of the others (RE2,3,CV etc).

I agree. If Capcom made a remake Resident Evil 2 and Square remade Final Fanstasy 7 it would be awesome. If Capcom included the unfinished Resident Evil 1.5 in the remake of RE2 it would be an essential purchase but I doubt they have any playable code left from this version.

Anyway, usually all remakes make me want to do is play the origional because of the memories and mainly because most just don't need a remake or an update. This game is the best remake of a videogame period, the point of a remake is to play THAT version instead of the old one and make it as a permanent replacement and i gotta say that this is the only game to actually make good on that concept. This is the benchmark and caliber that all games need to be put up to, no wonder resident evil is a freakin cash motherload.
I'd like remakes of Resi0-3 iwith the same gameplay as Resi 5. I hate the one angle room shot and the peopel walking like a tank, thoghu it feels better in remake to the original, I just prefer Resi 5.

Wasn't comfortable moving around ,especially if you're not use to it. Scarier, yes, I just prefer Resi 5 gameplay lol.
shareResident evil 5 sucked compared to the RE1 remake. I bought a gamecube when the remake just came out and it was worth every penny. I take out the gamecube maybe once a year to replay it cause it's that good as well as the playstation to replay RE2. I won't be doing that at all for resident evil 5 when the 360 becomes a console of the past. I loved the Raccoon City story line which made the game all that much better; a great game with a great story to tell along the way makes for what I see as one of the best entertainment pieces ever. I just wish they would have remade resident evil 2 for the gamecube to compliment the awesomeness that the remake of RE1 was.
