Series 6 + 7 not released on DVD?
It seems strange that the last series were not released.
shareThey will be. Probably next year. Though in fact these are Series 5 + 6, as the imdb is listing the pilot as Series 1, which is wrong.
shareStill waiting for the last 10 episodes of Deed! He is one of my favourite Martin Shaw characters. Why are they not released?
shareUsually they have to wait a certain amount of time from being aired to being released;
the obvious exeption is series like Spooks which is realeased the same year.
Judge John Deed usually waits a few years before release, so it should be out some time later this year, or early next year. Depends if they are released individually or as a set.
"Due to a customer complaint to OFCOM the BBC trust has ruled that two episodes in series 5 are never to be put onto DVD or rebroadcast. This obviously has impacted on our release schedule and we therefore have had no choice but to end our DVD exploitation of the UK series."
Thats a messege I got after I asked about it (they actually refer to series 6)
Is this for real ?
So one misguided fool complained to OFCOM and this was enough to scare the BBC into striking two episodes of JJOD off the face of the earth ?
What in gods name is the world coming to ? This is utterly insane. I've seen totally disgusting and delporable junk pass approval yet somehow the BBC is swayed into blatant censorship on the ramblings of one person ??? What about the MAJORITY - or don't they count ? Sheesh
I'm so pissed off with this I think I'll download the last two series via BitTorrent,
Gotta agree. I was like "What the hell" Political correctness gone mad.
Hope they ignore this and realse it should be realesed, after all, I bet Red Riding got complaints and Chanel 4 realesed that.
What a joke. Censorship lives - not only in China! This should be the story of a new epiosode...
