Not immune to social justice propaganda

With the deserved collapse of the programming of Hollywood's ABC, NBC and CBS, with commercials that cut into more than 1/3 of its stories, I imagine Americans like myself are gravitating to foreign sources to satisfy us. I've been exploring BBC series and, besides Judge John Deed, I've discovered Dalziel and Pascoe, Waking the Dead, Prime Suspect, Midsomer Murders, Touching Evil, Foyle's War, Silent Witness, some Aagatha Christie Miss Marple stuff, and even The Sweeney from the '70's. Great fun! A good story is hard to resist -- Deed has some of the best -- but I do see reflected in some of the writing the same taint of political class warfare propaganda in the writing that has divided and been destroying my own country and its entertainment. And Judge John Deed's mission to correct for "social injustice" has not been immune to it.

The collapse of the Housing market, recovery still on going, greed on Wall Street, and "social injustice", class warfare are still on going things, the one thing I like about the characters John Deed or George Gently is their tough but fair attitude, and willingness to recognize the world as it is, shades of grey.
