I have been renting this series ,and I'm starting to watch season 6. So there are no other seasons? Did they cancel the show leaving the viewer hanging there? This is frustrating because there is no closure to the show.

shareWell the judge wasn't going to grow up anytime soon, was he? I did get a little tired of how he couldn't keep his dickie boy in his pants and his stupid 'lady' friend kept coming back to him but then again they were both adulterers so....
Anyway, in the opening to season 7 one can imagine that he [in reality 'the govt enforcers] tied a rope around a tree and the other end to Deed's neck and then.....
he moved on to his next show, Inspector George Gently.
Both series, btw, are rather formulaic, but the acting is relatively good (even though I prefer live theatre), and the storylines are interesting enough for light summer entertainment.
To that end, I suggest that Martin Shaw has an angel, cause he has worked continuously since the 90s on tv series. AND not on series where there is an episode every week like here in the USA, so he's got it 'made in the shade', huh. I wonder if he knows how lucky he is?
