In both movies, there is a character who is psychicly connected to the monster. Is there a reason for this other than to explain what the creature is and his background and stuff? Or is there something about the Creeper that makes it easier for certain people to have psychic visions? Thoughts?
Been a long time since you posted but I figured it was because of the Creeper's supernatural origins. Him being a demonic being, when he's around strange, freaky things happen. That or he directly influences visions to add to the fear of his victims. Even in the first film Jezelle tries to help but he attempts are in vain as she doesn't really get any valuable information. But knowing the creature's intentions certainly makes encountering him all the more frightening.

Completely agree with this. Even in JC2, the group splitting apart could be said to be a direct result of Minxe's premonitions. They only came to know he was 'picking people out' until after the initial encounter, as Minxie talks of her vision. This strikes fear into Scotty who thus begins to create the two 'classes of people'...and we all know that didn't end well!
