I like it but...

I really do like this show, but don't you think sometimes it tried to be a bit too clever for its own good? For example, often they just threw a twist in at the end which made no sense and you just end up confused, and the extremely short run time of 23 mins. per episode doesn't really help either.

I just rewatched 'Sum of the Parts' and although it was enjoyable, it's still never really explained what actually happened. I mean, was that creature thing actually the patient's mother or was it just called mother? If it was just some genetic creation what did the doctor mean when she said "one of you had to die so the others could live"? And why on earth did that black stuff start coming out of the doctor at the end, I mean, she never had any transplant, did she?

Beats me. I think the writers just made it up as they went along. The dialogue is just pulpy trash most of the time.

After watching season 1 and straight into season 2 the pattern was 20 minutes of a semi workable story (only some of them) and then the last 3 minutes to turn it to its most unexpected extreme. Not that i had a problem with it, but some times i sat there thinking ... wtf was that all about? lol great stuff
