So, could this movie have been saved by different lead cast?

The movie has great supporting cast in Christopher Walken and Al Pacino. Having said that, its not just bad because of Bennifer, the script is also very bad. So the q is, what makes it worse, the Bennifer or the script. Had either been better, would it have been a better movie.

Considering how the casting of the 2 leads is what made the studio demand re-writes, I'd say the movie would've been less bad with other leads. The plot would've made more sense, but certain terrible scenes would've still been there.
