I honestly thought Affleck & Pacino did okay. Or...as good as they could do given the material. Anyway I'd just like to say, there's SO MUCH worse out there compared to this.
shareAgreed. The film aired last night, so I randomly saw it. It was certainly no masterpiece, but it was far from a disaster. I've seen way worse movies than this.
shareyeah, out of curiosity of watched it on netflix just to see how bad it was. since everyone is always talking about how terrible this movie is. i mean it's bad, but far from being the worst movie of all time.
i think if they had dropped the entire "lesbian" thing it would've made the movie a little less bad.
In general when they say that it's the worst movie ever, they're talking about as far is heavily-promoted, big blockbuster Hollywood movies starring A list actors are concerned. Obviously there are hundreds upon hundreds of average and low-budget movies with little-known or no-name actors and directors that are way worse than this. And even still there are other movies on the same production level as Gigli that are worse. It's all subjective but yeah, Gilgi is pretty bad.
