With the talent & cash thrown at this, the script must have totally sucked right from the beginning - which I seriously doubt...OR...there must have been some major issues during production & post - anyone know the story??? Brest has proven he makes far better films so there must be a story behind the story here...

Brest was clamped on by those that were financing it. He was forced to cut a ton of the movie out, and do some reshoots. It wasn't originally a romantic comedy. That makes it a mess. Not a big story, nor a big surprise.

Not to mention the released cut is pretty offensive to the LGBT community-and rightfully so.
