Goofs? We need better teachers in our schools.

I just got around to watching this film. And as with all films I see, I come to this site afterward and check out the goofs, trivia, boards, etc. I came across this goof.

In the scene where Roxy puts the fresh towels in the bathroom, and sees Velma and Mama Morton talking through the window, Mama's badge is on her right side (our left), as Velma strikes a match on it. In the next part of the scene, it's on the opposite side.
I wonder how long this goof was listed on this site without anyone else catching this error. I even went back and viewed the scene again just to make sure I wasn't mistaken. And yes, I confirmed what I had suspected initially. Roxie was spying on Velma and Mama by looking through the mirror in the bathroom. And that is why the image was reversed. You can even see the part in Velma and Mama's hair also switches sides. Some people's kids. Lol.

Sorry, but as a lifelong teacher, I take exception to your subject line.

The VAST majority of teachers are dedicated, caring, and excellent. When students are eager to learn, responsible, and exhibit good behavior (all traits instilled in them AT HOME): teachers are able to teach to the best of their abilities.

In my experience, people who downgrade teachers usually were not good students.

Touchy. I suppose I could have put: "Everyone on IMDb is an idiot except me." That would've went over real well. My post was a generalization of the whole education system as a whole. You, more than anyone, should have realized that.

Cobra, thank you for your respectful reply despite my snarkiness.

I guess I get frustrated with teachers being blamed for adults' ignorance.

If every student who was taught WELL continued his or her education by reading, studying, developing critical thinking skills, etc.: our world would be a much better place.

I find too many adults do not continue learning after they finish high school or college. Like everything else, the brain atrophies when not used (or when it ages, as in my case).

There does indeed seem to be a *lot* of people who are "challenged" when it comes to any kind of spatial reasoning or geometry. I really don't know why. How do these people navigate through the real world without bumping into things?

There is a similarly wrong "goof" on the IMDb page for Bruce Lee's Enter the Dragon. It claims that the villain's bladed prosthetic hand switches arms during the climactic fight sequence. That whole extended sequence takes place in a literal hall of mirrors. That fact is a major focus, including mistaken strikes that break mirror panes. So in that case it isn't like anybody could mistake a single mirror for being a window.

Hilarious. I wonder if there are similar goofs in "Mirrors (2008)".

Well, to my surprise , someone has submitted the same "non-goof" again.

When Velma is talking to Mama in her office about finding a place to perform, you see Mama's badge is on the left side of her jacket (from our perspective). When she comes out to talk to Roxie, it's on the right side.

Really? I'll bet this person is even allowed to vote.

I guess the next time I'll have to make an "Incorrectly Regarded as a Goof" entry.

Yes i agree with you. those who put those things in the goofs section in a movie in IMDb are big idiots! probably they are always mad at life that's why they find goofs in everything!
