I went and saw this last night with 2 of my friends and I don't even think it was an hour long? It was kind of disappointing...It started out and I was thinking "Hey, this might be as good as the Emperor's New Groove" but unfortunately it sure wasn't. It wasn't horrible, but no where near worth my 10 bucks.

The Emperor's new groove was great, one HUNDRED times better than Home on the Range, in fact I couldn't even watch it for 5 minutes without looking at my watch.

what do you think made Home on the Range better than the Emperor's New Groove, besides cute animals and the fact it was a Musical (although, I couldn't stand the songs)
shareEmperor's New Groove had attitude, narrative interest and good pacing. Home on the Range has none of these - and is not even especially well drawn. I agree small kids will like it, but I doubt whether it will be looked at much in years to come.
Seems like Disney got the wrong half of the 'Roseanne' stars signed up this time, as Goodman is great in all of the animated roles I have heard him in....

If you ask me, this these two films (home on the range and emperor's new groove) were horrible compared to disney's golden ages, which were the movies made during the early 1990's and the 1989's little mermiad, the others being beauty and the beast, aladdin, and the lion king---pocahontas was stupid (in my opinion). Disney went down on making their great films after their smash hit, THE LION KING. Pocahontas was stupid, and so was hunchback and so on. I guess the only one that was better of the late 90's was TARZAN, it was pretty good, i really liked it. But admit it, Disney stopped making great movies, a movie about cows and a an emperor turned into a llama/?C'mon
shareokay first of all I loved the emporers new groove and I sorta liked home on the range and I also agree that many of the movies that recently have been made cannot compare to the classics but I ALSO REFUSE to Trash Any disney movie. they have all proven to be fun and I loved them all. and in my opinion your the stupid one. How dare you trash the beauty of a disney film just because it didnt touch YOU.
