Who else thinks that this movie is horrible?

If I were to rate this I'd give it a 0 out of 10. I would like to know what other people think. Its overall was 5.4, but it really should be a 3 or lower.

I really didn't enjoy this film at all. Most of the humor was old. The only charcter I found delight in was the horse played by Cuba Gooding Jr. (I think that is the spelling).

I thought it was pretty good actually.

But this movie is aimed for children...not adults like you and I.

So I'm not surprised you didn't like it.

Sorry to disagree w/ you, but I have to disagree. I loved this entire film. It has actually become one of my favorites. The characters were awesome, the songs were great, the voices were perfect, the whole movie was hilarious, and it was just so old-school Disney. I can't see why everyone hated this film. But...I liked it, & that's all that matters.

I thought this movie was really cute! The writing was fun and the gags were funny, too. The writing was mainly for adults, though, so I am not surprised it didin't stay in the theaters. Most adults don't watch PG movies so don't see how cute they are sometimes. I liked the voices of the three cows. Judi Dench made her part especially 'propa' with the English accent. I am a big fan of hers.

I liked it. It is not amongst Disney's best (nothing can top Snowwhite or Bambi) but it is still very amusing. The animation is pretty good too. I don't really understand why people are rating it so low.

I thought it was cute. It's not going to become a Disney classic, but it was fun to watch and the good guys beat the bad guys and everyone lives happily ever after. It's a kids' movie, it wasn't supposed to be deep.

Not true. "Bambi," "Dumbo," "The Fox and the Hound," and a lot of other Disney movies were fantastic for kids but not the least bit dumbed down, so they could be enjoyed at any age. Not so much with "Home on the Range."

Nonetheless, I still liked this movie better than Brother Bear. Having Roseanne star in it (Maggie herself was a great character) gives it a point in my book. And the soundtrack was beautiful.

Every time you read this signature, an orphaned puppy gets fed into a meat grinder.

What were you expecting from this movie?

This film was intended to be a comedy with a cliche storyline and succeeds very well.

I love it and it makes people laugh out loud which can only be a good thing.

I respect your opinion, but please give a reason for it.

Didn't really care for it, but the real deal came when I asked my kids if they wanted it for the DVD collection and the answer was resounding indifference. So, naturally I saved my $20......

It isn't terrible or good (in my opinion) it's just 'ho-hum'. Not particularly clever, but not mind-numbing either. It had a few laughs in it. It is just another Disney movie, on par with Tarzan 2 and The Little Mermaid 2, nothing especially interesting or memorable. For example, if you were to give this movie as a birthday present to a seven year old, they would give a disappointed sigh, thank you politely, and then chuck it over there shoulder to open the next present. This is what I think.
