I rented this movie for my 4 and 2 year old girls, and I thought for sure they would like it because their animal of the week is cows. Within 15 minutes they were bored to tears, and were beggining for something else. I went ahead and forced them to watch about another 45 minutes...and I wish to God I hadn't tortued them like I had. The movie got so bad that I kept watching to see if it could get any worse.

The writing and dialogue is so bad, that I had to check the box and make sure Disney's name was on it. The animation seemed like Cartoon network quality, and I said, "Man, its a good thing Disney stopped making this animation.

Bottom line don't watch EVER.

The Black Cauldron is much worse.

Dragonzord! Mastodon! Pterodactyl! Triceratops! Saber Toothed Tiger! Tyrannosaurus!

At least, the black cauldron had ambition behind it. This was just plain awful without question.

Honestly, I don't find this film to even be bottom 5 for Disney. And as far as the absolute worst goes, Chicken Little fits that title much better.

How much disney movies have you watched?? This one is not the best but its not disney's worst their's others that's much worst.

What about the black cauldron and cinderella 2 they would easyly take the WORST spot before this one.

I think Hunchback of Notre Dame 2 also sucked. That I watched 1 time, and never wanted to see again. I watched Dumbo again when I was older, and I didn't care a bit for that one either. But maybe that's just me.

This film was far from a classic. But I wouldn't say it was a bad movie either.

Exactly. I never watched the hunchback 2. And in my oppinion I never will.as for the first and 2nd The animation doesn't look like disney. It looked like that cheap cartoon animation.

But the movies like Cinderella 2 and Hunchback 2 don't count since they are not true Disney movies. The sequels to Disney movies are made by a separate studio called DisneyToon studios. The only official Disney sequels as of today would be The Rescuers Down Under, Fantasia 2000, and Winnie the Pooh (even though it is actually the fifth Winnie the Pooh movie).

That being said, Black Cauldron is still the worst Disney movie by far.

Not as long as Treasure Planet exists it's not.
