The Bad Angel

Mad props go out to Angelo Badalamenti for his score for Autofocus, this incredible composor seems to be largly ignored by mainstream whollywood and is woefully underused. He did a great job of setting the tone for the last half hour of the film, with the shakey nervous camera work and muffled, underwaterish dialogue he and Schrader made a good attempt at portraying a real burnt-out character with nowhere left to go, almost seemed like he was willing on death.

i also thought they presented the changing decades very well, as all this transpired in a very changaeble social climate.

anyone know where i can get Bob Crane sleazery without having to give money to his hypocrite son? or for that matter, anywhere on the net i might be able to get some nice 50's/early 60's sleazy Americana/porn? i'm interested from a purely historical aspect you see...
