The Significance of "The Glasses"
Before I begin, I LOVED the movie. In a word: BRILLIANT! I follow the camp of "Who cares if it's accurate? It's entertaining!" And Bob Crane, Jr. does NOT help his cause any. So anyhoo...
When things were particularly troublesome in Bob's life, he'd wear those tan shades. In the final dinner theater scene, He's wearing them ON STAGE! Never mind that wearing glasses on stage is a theater taboo, but he chose to wear THOSE glasses. Was he shielding his eyes from the lights after a particularly late night of sex, did he just not care, or was there some sort of symbolism to it? Any ideas?
