it was meant to be like that bob crane was a twisted man and this movie portrayed it very well! i just think you need to open your mind to the greater picture!!!!!

I don't think Bob Crane was 'twisted'. Needful and lost maybe but hardly twisted. He didn't do so well by Patti and Scotty, what with the endless sex and not being around. However not everyone is perfect. We're all flawed.

If impersonating a Police Officer is an offence, shouldn't actors be imprisoned?

Sorry, but he was twisted. Twisted and depraved. That goes beyond being flawed. There is a hell of a big difference between flawed and just plain depraved and twisted. I hate to say it, but Bob Crane was a very depraved and sick man.

He was an sex addict and this obsession completely destroyed his personal and professional life.
