I was really thinking ATHF would never return to its former greatness, but I was wrong.
I'm loving the new episodes, they are FINALLY going back to their roots and incorporating all of the references that made it great in the first place.

ive stuck up for the show over the years. it's had its ups and downs but this season is just too random with no real pay off. while it still has its moments, it's definitely the weakest season and no where near its former glory. i mean some of the episodes barely have the Aqua Teens in them at all, which while it can still be funny is nothing like the original show.
Yeah, There's something different about this season's humor. and the show itself seems to be trying too hard to be weird. Earlier episodes were so Fu.... up because they were random and surreal but never self conscience.
shareThe episode where Carl found a Narnia type wonderland in the storage locker he'd bought for 100 dollars was hilarious, with the contrast of Carl's unremitting a**holery and the childlike cheerfulness of the world's inhabitants. Then Carl starts taking anything and everything he wants, including the little jewel encrusted throne and the talking bushes.
"Yeah, put those bushes on the truck. When you rip them out of the ground, after a while they stops talkin'."
Dude that episode was off the f'kin scale on hilarity! Carl's always had those great ignorant one liners, but man he really went to work on those poor little cheery and helpful bastards.

like season 8's intro was ok i thought but the audio got irritating :(
