Really? It's a TV show, an animated comedy one at that. You get lols and hahas from it. Why wouldn't you watch another episode?
Also: you're missing a pretty funny episode. End your personal crusade to boycott extra rofls.
The previous finale was a perfect sendoff for these characters I've known for 15 years. I'm not going to ruin that for an extra 11 minutes of comedy, definitely not worth it. I stopped watching the show years ago so it's not like I'm jonesing for one last ATHF ep.
Clearly Adult Swim thought the aired finale was better as well, since they chose not to air the other finale.

They've been killing these characters and bringing them back without explanation for years now, I don't see any reason to change it now. Just like on South Park they used to kill Kenny all the time and bring him back, although they did address that eventually, kinda sorta.
Don't get me wrong, I preferred the sad finale too, but I don't think the new episode ruins it at all. Aqua Teen was always very surreal, you can't take it too seriously. Anyway, it wouldn't surprise me to see them air this episode on TV at some point. I'd probably be more surprised if it is never shown.
That lady is crazy and doesn't get the show. The point of the show is get high and laugh at a meatball and a cup. That's it. I liked the final final even better than the first final because it was such a middle finger to the kind of people who say they've known these characters for 15 years like that lady. YOU KNOW A MEATBALL AND A CUP AND A BOX OF POTATOES!? Nice life...
