Do you think there must come an part 2 of I Spy ?
I hope so,i like part 1.
Eddy Murphy,Owen Wilson and Famke Janssen must return.
No, there won't be a part two. Sadly, too many people who don't think for themselves let the critics make up their minds for them so the movie didn't do well. I saw the movie the first night it came out, before most of the critics panned it, and the audience absolutely loved it. We were laughing so hard that we couldn't hear half the lines. The buzz on the way out of the theater was that it was great. Then the critics decided that it wasn't enough like the TV series, "I Spy," and they panned it. Too bad the people didn't put their fannies in the seats anyway so they could make their own opinions. I still say that if they had called it something else, it would've made $100 million. So, get a copy of the DVD and enjoy it at home ... there will not be a sequel.
shareWhy should they make a sequel? Why not use the same actors, plot and feel and make a new movie? Because they expect the movie will need all the help it can get. This movie was unoriginal and there is no reason to make a sequel since even the known name didnt drag ppl in the theatres. There is no new element that would cause this film to make it big. I have posted my views mor eextensively on this film on another topic. Essentially, its a funny piece of fluff. But great ? No 100 million material? No way. A movie with that much potential would have been powered by word of mouth no matter what the critics say.
