Additional scene after ending credits?

My DVD doesn't seem to have the additional "one year later" scene, like so many others, even though it is listed on the back of the DVD as being included. However, I read some reviews of the film at Amazon, and one person commented to make sure you watch all the way through to the end of the credits, for a 25-30 second scene. Not sure if this is the scene, as I read it is at least 3 minutes, but I will check it out tonite and see if that is where it's hidden.

Nope, no additional scene. I guess the additional scene really is where they show her coming up the subway steps in New York, although I didn't want that to be true. Why this would be deemed an additional scene is beyond me, as I think it ties up the ending of the movie nicely, and I can't imagine the movie being shown without this scene tacked onto the end. Oh, well, disappointing, but I still really loved this movie.

i remember watching this like 2-3 years ago on hbo and i remember they showed the additional scene. i remember ana went back home to model some clothes at a small fashion show that her family members were holding??.. i think. and it showed that the relationship between her and her mom were ok. this doesn't really make sense to me because i dont remember the movie that well but hopefully i helped.

YUP, HBO showed the additional scene, but it is not on the DVD. It shows Ana at a fashion show type of thing (for her sister?) wearing the red dress.

Oddly enough, I wore the exact dress to my senior prom, only mine was black.

I borrowed the dvd from the library and it did have that last scene...

Yes, IMO it changes the whole tone of the movie. I think I liked it more without the extra scene.

I just watched the movie, I rented it from Netflix and the one year later scene is under special features. It is, like others have said, a fashion show her sister puts on.

I just watched it on HBO and it did not have that extra scene. Only a scene where they are tring to make the sweet old nice lady sing another song.

I remember the scene as well with the fashion show from watching it years back.

I seem to also remember another scene that I did not see the last time I watched it: Ana and her sister (more Ana than her sister) confronts the Blooming Dales woman (the woman who they are making the dresses for) and end up getting a better business deal (like more money, the advance, or something).

I remember this being a HBO film so when it debut, it had the additional scene at the end of the credits. I remember being that all the ladies in the factory including Ana was in a fashion show and they all wore dresses like they made. I believe even the mother had one on too.

The scene with the Bloomingdale woman was in the movie. They try to get more time to finish a dress and she tells them no. Ana says something rude under her breath and almost screws it up for Estella.
