Arnold Schwarzeneggar doesn't do sequels either. Like many actors, these guys don't want to be typecast, so they refrain from repeating their roles. Also, they know many sequels don't do that well, so many actors avoid them to avoid having their names associated with a movie that bombs at the box office.
You can't fix stupid.

And the Conan movies.
shareyou must not watch all the movies arnie is in conan the barbarian three times and terminator 3 times you cant tell me me otherwhise jerk
shareWow. Hostile crowd. Calling me "jerk" because I "must not watch all the movies arnie is in"? Real classy. And where do you get 3 Conan movies from? I see "Conan the Barbarian" (1982) and "Conan the Destroyer" (1984). Am I missing one?
Okay, so he's been in a few sequels. What I've heard him say, and other actors, is that they really avoid doing sequels. The Conan movies were very early in the list of Arnie movies. Since then, the Terminators are the only sequels he's done. I'm glad he made the exception and did sequels to Terminator. They are really the only ones that only he could have done, and all the fans really wanted him to do.

Vin was offered three sequels at the same time, he cant do all three. So he choose to do The chronicles of Riddick. We can look forward to many Ice Cubes if the movie studios continue pulling that *beep*
Vin's stated that he doesn't like doing sequels because sequels usually aren't that good. Another reason is he doesn't like the character he was in enough to do a sequel. With Pitch Black though, he was the one that asked to have sequel because he was so into the character. I think he stated that on some Late Night show. I'm thinking either Leno or Conan, but im not sure.
