Not so bad

I just watched this movie, having seen some negative comments, but I like Vin Diesel and wanted to see him in a non-Riddick role. I thought it was not so terrible. It was fun, some great stunts and special effects. I guess all the annoying James Bond references were lost on me because I am not a huge Bond fanatic. Anyway--I liked it. Vin Diesel is like Arnold S. was in the '80s and early 90s--an action film actor who is not exactly a Shakespearean actor but delivers the punchy action that we are seeking. You don't want to look too deeply below the surface of this kind of film but just enjoy it as light entertainment that it was intended to be.
