Opening scenes were interesting...

The opening scenes of this movie were interesting. I caught the first few scenes on TV before I had to leave for something and it was enjoyable up to the club scene, so I decided to rent it and finish the movie. Sadly, the rest of the movie was crap I was unable to suspend my disbelief to enjoy. The final scene with the plastic-covered cardboard boat was just too stupid for words. Vin Diesel gamely tries to go with it, but it's so idiotic that even his best efforts can't rescue the finale.

Hopefully, the new xXx movie will be more like the beginning of the film and less like the end. Maybe Justin Lin could direct it. He's done wonders in resuscitating the "Fast and Furious" franchise.
