This is pretty scary at points but the genre is getting worn out quickly. There are just too many of these "backwood, cannibalistic in-breds" movies today. It's like the explosion of zombie movies. Unless they add something new they're all the same thing.

There are cute, wonderfully built girls in the movie which brings me to ask: Why don't we ever see overweight, ugly girls in these movies. It's like every girl walking the earth is hot, tight- bodied and loose.

I'm not saying I want to see fact ugly girls (our town has enough) but every now & then please insert some reality...

Surely the fat ones would get killed first because they wouldn't be quick enough to get away so there wouldn't be much point in them being in the movie in the first place!

Try Feed (2005) if you don't mind it's not a backwood, cannibalistic in-breds movie.

Never throw away a chance for happiness too quickly...it can get to be a habit.

I am guessing because guys are more visual and don't want to see a movie with fat chicks. Whereas women don't really care so men are allowed to be fat and gross and still be successful. There are like 3 fat successful actresses and if you go to their boards most of the guys (and some women) hate them.

Then there is Kate Upton who apparently has a fleshy waste and on The Other Woman board some obsessed creepy guy can't stop complaining about her.

Because a think woman such as myself would beat the tar out of one of these maniacs. I am not skinny. I am big and stout and I can wear you out lol. seriously, a larger woman like me can't run nearly as fast, but I can fight a lot better and when I take a fall or a hit, I take that better too. but we all really know why the girls are all skinny don't we? as my mom would say, it's the same old six and seven lol. but seriously when I go into flight or fight, it ain't flight lol.
