Do the horror heads prefer this or.....

I like skynyrd and r Lee but my gut tells me this is the better out of the two

Tcm remake (2003) is the better movie but I enjoyed both.

I actually watched both tonight, and while I did enjoy tmc, I'm gonna have to say Wrong Turn because I just love great atmosphere. It actually scared the *beep* out of me.

A bit of the old ultraviolence...

I don't like any of the TCM movies save for the original so by default have to go with Wrong Turn. I enjoyed WT more than I thought I would though - it's one of the better slasher flicks to come out in the last 25 years. Some of the scenes are genuinely creepy. Scott's death, the tree chase - pretty unsettling stuff.

Funny how both of these movies were made/released in the same year (2003). I have to go with Wrong Turn though since it isn't a remake. As far as originals go however, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre owns this film big time.

I'd go with Wrong Turn since it at least has the balls to be it's own movie and not just regurgitate Leatherface.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) is the better film.
