Hmm, sounds like myspace

No, if your child is actually stupid enough to post what school they go to on the internet, then...maybe they shouldn't be on the internet, not just myspace. You cannot possibly blame the whole myspace corporation for stupid children out there. Also, why don't you commit more time to FINDING THE PEOPLE THAT ACTUALLY HURT THOSE KIDS rather than tearing down myspace? Seriously, if you tear down myspace, another site will pop up just like it and then millions of people will use that too. YOU WILL NOT WIN.

MYSPACE doesn't kill anything. PEOPLE on myspace are dumb and don't know how to protect themselves. If you want to bring down myspace, you might as well bring down EVERY OTHER WEBSITE that has an option to post things about your life. It's not JUST myspace and you know it. In fact, I bet the only reason anyone is saying ANYTHING about myspace is because they're too lazy, and stupid to go out and try and help police find those kinds of predators.

Punish, the predators, not the corporation. If you actually read the terms and agreements of myspace, you would know that myspace freezes ANY account they think might be held by an underage user.

You should read the terms of service and GET OFF OF THE COMPUTER if you don't like it. Catch the predators yourself if you're so bent on capturing them.

Take some responsibility and be a responsible parent by actually taking care of your kids and monitoring their activities. Talk to your children. Get interested in their hobbies and be both a friend and parent to them.

Not enough parents take responsibility these days and get involve in their kids. They want to blame music, they want to blame art, then want to blame the internet. Example, parents blame music for a child commiting suicide instead of having talked to their child and listened to then. /sarcasm Sure it was the music's fault and it couldn't be because of the uncle who was mollesting her now could it? It couldn't be because you wouldn't listen and believe her when she tried to tell you? No of course not, it must have been the music's fault.

If your kid has a MySpace website then you should know about it. If you don't then you are obviously not paying enough attention to that child. You let the child use the internet but you have no clue on what the childs interests are and activities?

Before you allowed that child to use the internet, did you teach that child about being carefull? Did you teach that child not to give out the home address? Did you teach that child that their are sometimes some bad men online pretending to be children so for her to be carefull? No, you want to blame MySpace so that you don't have to take any responsibility. You are looking for a scapegoat.

The only thing wrong with MySpace is that most of those people have no clue on how to make a decent website LOL but I don't think that is a crime.
