I'll watch anything with Amy Wright in it.
I also came across this article apparently written by the director, who provides some amazing tidbits regarding the production. Martin Scorsese has seen an early cut.

Woah, intense find! Holy shit this movie is unbelievable. I'm going to have to watch it again sometime. It is so dense and chaotic that it's as impenetrable and logic/sense destroying as the craziest compositions of Iannis Xenakis et al.
shareBrilliant observation. I'm pretty sure that this movie was borne of incidental collaborative chaos rather than one artist's vision of dissonance. Some mysteries still remain, but going off of the article I might be able to piece together how a robot got introduced to a family in the first place.
shareQuite a story. Much more entertaining than the movie and almost as weird. This guy did seem like something of a magnet for odd characters.
I wonder what happened to him. He seemed pretty dedicated to making movies, but never had another movie credit it looks like. He started out with no connections but one that national student film competition and got to know Scorsese well enough that Scorsese agreed to watch the movie. Guess he kind of ruined that by showing this thing to Scorsese.
Did he end up making local commercials or something? Give up on the business completely? I'm a little curious.
